Incorporated in 1971, the American Truck Historical Society was formed to preserve the history of trucks, the trucking industry, and its pioneers. It is headquartered in Kansas City, Missouri.

The Redwood Chapter was chartered Aug 29, 1993 and is the 57th chapter of ATHS in the country. Robert Young was the 1st President and Jim Ryan is our current and fifth president.
